He was a member of the Pipefitters Union Local #597, Trinity Lutheran Church, New Smyrna Beach, A.A.C.A. Car Club of Volusia and The Buick Club of America. Mr. Galandak helped organize Speedway car shows.

Burial will be in Acacia Park in Chicago.

She was the beloved wife of the late John; loving mother of Doren (Robert) Petersen of Schaumburg; cherished grandmother of John and Ken (Christine) Petersen; proud great-grandmother of Jennifer; dear sister of Robert (Lillian) Larsen and the late Shirlee (the late Bill) Schuessler.
