      Children:

      1. Isabel de Vermandois, Countess of Leicester. Isabel was born in 1081 in Vermandois, Normandy, France, died on 13 Feb 1131 in St. Nicaise, Meulan, D-Sens, France, and was buried in Lewes, Sussex, Canterbury, England. She married Robert 1 de Beaumont, Earl of Leicester was born about 1049 in Pont-Audemer, Normandy, France, died on 5 Jun 1118 in Leicester, Leicestershire, England, and was buried in Preaux, Normandy, France.

      2. Sir Robert de Beaumont, Lord Beaumont, Pont-Audemer and Brionne, Count of Meulan, created first Earl of Leicester, companion of William the Conqueror at Hastings 1066. Called a "novice in arms" by William of Poitiers and Oderic Vital.

      Rewarded with 90 manors in Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Wiltshire and Northamptonshire. Known after the death of his mother as the Count of Meulent and as such in 1082 sat in the French parliament, as a peer of France.

      First wife was Godehilde de Toeni. No children. Separated by 1090. Second wife was Elizabeth Vermandois, had twins Waleran and Robert, born 1104; Hugh the Poor, who became Earl of Bedford, and daughters Emma, born 1102, and Adeline, Amicia, Albreda and Isabel. Elizabeth, also known as Isabel, deserted Robert for William de Warenne 2, Earl of Warren and Surrey. This affected Robert's mind and hastened his death in 1118. He was in his fifties when he married a young Elizabeth\Isabel.
      Children:

      Isabel Elizabeth de Beaumont was born about 1086 in Leicester, Leicestershire, England and died on 17 Jan 1138 in Berkhampstead, Hertfordshire England.
      Robert 2 de Beaumont, Earl of Leicester, Count of Meulan was born in 1104 in Meulan, France, died on 5 Apr 1168 in Preaux, Normandy, France, and was buried on 10 Apr 1166 in Abbey Preaux, Normandy, France.

      Robert married Maud de Dunstanville, daughter of Rainald de Dunstanville, Earl of Cornwall and Beatrice Fitz William, Countess of Cornwall. Maud was born about 1143 in Dunstanville, Kent, England.
      Children:

      Mabel (Mabirie) de Beaumont was born about 1168 in Meulan, Normandy, France and died about 1204.
