    Nekrolog i Nordlandsposten, torsdag 9.november 1989:

    Terje Dahn til minne.

    Etter lengre tids sykdom og til slutt en større operasjon, avgikk Terje Dahn ved døden den 16.oktober bare 51 år gammel. Til siste stund var optimisme, godt humør og engasjement hans varemerke. Med Rigmor ved sin side syntes ingen ting å være umulig, og hans positive menneskesyn gikk igjen i alt han foretok seg.
    Hans engasjementer var mange. Først i livet var han ute i skog og mark, siden i sikkerhet til sjøs og friluftsliv i fritidsbåten. Kommunikasjon til sjøs var hans spesiale og yrke. mange fritidsbåteiere lærte seg denne edle kunst under hans ledelse. Som formann i Bodø båtforening var han sterkt opptatt av å bedre forholdene for båtfolket i Bodø. Den nye småbåthavna er et synlig bevis på dette.
    Han trivdes god i sin - Terri - og vi som kjente han godt lærte fort å sette pris på koselige samtaler med han over VHF'n, både i alvor og skjemt.
    En poetisk åre hadde han også, noe som kom til uttrykk i små innlegg i båtforeningsbladet.
    Vi kommer alle til å savne mannen, vennen og medmennesket Terje Dahn.
    Vi lyser fred over hans minne.
