    Både Harald og Ellen var lærere på Moen skole.

    I både 1955 og 1956 blir det nevnt i et brev fra faren Alex, at Ellen driver alene på Moen skole. Harald har permisjon og er da på lærerhøyskolen i Trondheim.

    Occupation:
    I et brev datert 11.august 1953 skrev faren Alex at Ellen og Harald har fått post på Tranøy i Troms, stedet han selv startet som distriktslege for 25 år siden.

    Occupation:
    Både Harald og Ellen var lærere på Skui skole.

    Den 5.juni 1958 skrev dr.Alex Brinchmann at datteren Ellen og hennes mann hadde fått skolepost i Bærum.
    Senere det året, 29.september, skrev han at Ellen også skulle begynne på Skui skole etter jul. Hun skulle bare avslutte et kurs for håndarbeidslærere på Industriskolen i Oslo.

    Residence:
    I mai 1958 skriver Alex Brinchmann at Ellen og Harald skal flytte til Bærum etter 5 år i nord. De skal flytte til høsten, da begge hadde fått skolepost i Bærum.

    Multippel sklerose (fork. MS) er per i dag diagnostisert som en kronisk, uhelbredelig nevrologisk sykdom som rammer sentralnervesystemet (hjernen og ryggmargen), som oftest kvinner mellom 25 til 45 år.
    De vanligste symptomene er nedsatt førlighet, dårlig syn, lammelser og koordinasjonsvansker, men pasientene har ulike symptomer alt etter hvor i hjernens eller ryggmargens myelin betennelsen(e) oppstår.
