    Alice A. Hanson, 87, Columbia Falls, died Jan. 17, 1992, at North Valley Hospital (Whitefish MT).

    She was born Sept. 23, 1904 in Calumet (Houghton Co.), Mich., to Mathias and Marit Skrogstad. The family moved to North Dakota in June 1905. They settled near Milton, N.D.

    She was married to Bernard Hanson on Feb. 26, 1931, in Milton (Cavalier Co.), N.D. They moved to Columbia Falls in 1956.

    She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and the Senior Citizens in Columbia Falls.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sisters and a brother.

    Survivors include two daughers, Marilyn Hurtt, Hoople, N.D., and Elaine Jensen, Columbia Falls; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

    Services were Monday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Columbia Falls with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery.

    BERNARD HANSON's obituary of Feb. 6, 1970 of Hungry Horse News says they were married Feb. 27, 1931 at Crookston (Polk Co.), Minn.

    Daughter of Mathias Skrogstad (1868-1943) and Marit (Mary?) Skrogstad (1862-1936), both born in Norway and died in East Alma, Cavalier, ND.
