    He was treasurer of the North American Baptist denomination, trustee of Sioux Falls Seminary, Sioux Falls, SD; member of the denomination's finance committee, Church extension committee, and trustee of the Central Baptist Home for the Aged.

    Firmaet Enthof, Schroeder & Co er i 1865 nevnt som wagon makers, 48 Canal, altså beliggende like vest for Chicago River.

    Før 1893 har han en butikk i Beloit og Madison i Forest Park.

    He established and operated a blacksmith shop in Forest Park which served the horse drawn trolley line for several years. He and his family helped establish and were active members of Forest Park Baptist Church.
