From the Austin Daily Herald, March 12, 1977: Mrs. Ben (Louina) Stephenson, 79, died unexpectedly Friday at Riverside Community Hospital, Riverside, Calif. She resided at 1213 4th Ave. SE and is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Fred (Barbara) Havens, Mrs. Charles (Donna) Kidder, Riverside; three sons, Lyle of Rose Creek, Lee of Mason City, Iowa, Stanley of Austin; 21 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Burke, La Mesa, Calif.; a brother, Joe Jordahl, St. Ansgar. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Worlein Funeral Home, Rev. Carl Borgwardt officiating. Interment will be in Grandview Memorial Gardens. Friends may call from 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of service. [1]
