  	Education was very important to my Boyum relatives. My ggrandmother, Bertha, attended college - unheard of for a woman of her times. She was a teacher. Her daughters Eunice and Nora were also teachers and Nora wrote several books, while Eunice wrote only one. Nora then became a librarian. The books were mostly storybooks about her family and her childhood. [2]
