  	Melvin Olaf Skrogstad, 82, Fargo, died Thursday, June 3, 2004, in his home. Mr. Skrogstad was born April 3, 1922, near Milton, N.D., where he grew up and attended school. On Oct. 19, 1947, he married Mary Stabo. They farmed for several years near Milton and Osnabrock, N.D. In 1963, they moved to Mapleton, N.D., and then to Fargo in 1965. He was a contractor in Fargo for 25 years and a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife; three sons, Jeff (Peggy), Burnsville, Minn., Will (Dawn) and Mike, both Minnetonka, Minn.; four daughters, Janet (Murray) Serfling, Huron, S.D., Maggie (Lyle) Heinle, Tower City, N.D., Barb (Jeff) Perreault, Alexandria, Minn., Julie (Cameron) Merkel, Harwood, N.D.; 16 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: Sunday from 4 to 6 in Hanson-Runsvold Funerl Home, Fargo. Funeral: Monday at 2 in Peace Lutheran Church, Fargo. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo. [1]
