    I 1719 hadde han kjøpt halvparten av Dal i Borre av Anders Jenssen Kimestad for 70 riksdaler.

    Ved skiftet etter Lucretia i 1741 utgjorde formuen 117 riksdaler. Gården ble taksert til 150 riksdaler. Søndre Jareteigen var da hjelpedragonkvarter til gården Vik i Sem.

    Kristen lånte 100 riksdaler i 1742 av Arne Anderssen Sollerød i Undrumsdal.

    Kristen solgte halvparten av gården i 1748 til Kristoffer Kristoffersen, som samme år lånte 50 riksdaler av Arne Sollerød.

    Kristen married Lucretia Hansdatter Brårud, "Jartein" in 1716. Lucretia (daughter of Living) was born about 1691 in Brårud, Borre, Horten, Vestfold, Norge; died before 3 Jun 1741 in Søndre Jarteigen, Sem, Tønsberg, Vestfold, Norge; was buried on 3 Jun 1741 in Sem, Tønsberg, Vestfold, Norge.
