    Axel Kielland har menat att Dorthea Baltzersdtr, fränka till Zacharias Joensen Skancke i Seljord, var en sannolik dotter av Baltzer Schonck (Kielland, s 216), hon bør ha varit född omkr 1590, medan Baltzer Sckoncks barn är födda omkr 1630-40, av vilket vi kan dra den slutledningen att han inte kan ha varit hennes
    far.
