    Viselagmann Christoffer Casparsen Schøller til Gjølme var borgermester Caspar Schø1lers yngste barn. Han var født 20.november 1630.

    Student i Leyden.

    Gift med Maren Andersdatter, datter av kjøpmann og borgermester Anders Olufsen, Fredrikstad.

    Vice-laugmannen hadde 8 barn, 5 sønner og 3 døtre.

    Han overtok sin fars hovedgård Gjølme med gods, sagbruk og andre rettigheter, dessuten kom han i besittelse av en rekke andre gårder og jordgods nordenfjelds.

    Schøllerne var rike herremenn, og det var en vanlig regel i deres tid at pengefolk anbragte sine formuer i jordgods, da pengevesenet ikke var å stole på.

    Christoffer C. Schøller kjøpte stadig nye jordgods, og deriblandt også Leren gods i Strinda i 1667.
    Hans bedrifter var av store dimensjoner. Han eide til slutt 114 spand jordgods og en rekke sagbruk i Trondhjems amt. Dessuten hadde han privilegium på 4 sagbruk i Bratsberg amt, samt privilegium på å drive Ytterøens Kobberverk.

    Viselagmann Schøller døde 1681.

    Caspar Schøller (født ca.1665 i Trondheim, død 28.november 1716) var sønn av viselagmann Christopher Caspersen Schøller og Maren Andersdatter. Han var oberst og interimskommandant på Fredrikstad festning i 1716.

    Schøller var gift med Isabella Elisabeth Stockfleth (1676–1711), datter av etatsråd og stiftsamtmann Christian de Stockfleth og Isabella Margrethe Mechlenburg.

    Deres sønn Christoffer Schøller (1707–1774) var overbergamtsforvalter nordafjells.

    Schøller var underkonduktør i Danmark fra 1689, og ble fenrik i 1693. Han var med de danske tropper til Flandern fra 1693 til 1696, og ble kaptein ved Smålenenes nasjonale infanteriregiment og sjef for Hobølske kompani fra 1699.

    Fra 1707 var han major og inspektør over festningsarbeidene ved Fredrikstad, Kongsten, Akerøy fort, Stavern, Kristiansand og Bergenhus festning.

    Caspar Schøller ble 11.oktober 1710 utnevnt til oberstløytnant og sjef for den norske fortifikasjonsetaten.

    Han ble oberst i 1715, og utnevnt til interimskommandant i Fredrikstad 10.juli 1716.
    Han fikk satt i stand palisadene, og det ble bygget en ny stor høylåve nedenfor kurtinen mellom Gyldenløves og Prinsesse Charlottes bastion i hans tid.

    Han døde brått 28.november 1716.
