    His mother was Princess Margaret of Denmark (Margrethe Françoise Louise Marie Helene; 17 September 1895, Bernstorff Palace – 18 September 1992, Copenhagen, Denmark). Her parents were Prince Valdemar of Denmark, youngest son of Christian IX of Denmark and Louise of Hesse-Kassel (or Hesse-Cassel), and Princess Marie d'Orleans.
    She married a Catholic prince, her mother's relative, Prince René of Bourbon-Parma (Schwarzau, 17 October 1894 – Hellerup, Copenhagen, 30 July 1962) on 9 June 1921 in Copenhagen.

    The House of Bourbon-Parma (Italian: Casa di Borbone di Parma) is an Italian cadet branch of the House of Bourbon. It is thus descended from the French Capetian dynasty in male line. The name of Bourbon-Parma comes from the main name (Bourbon) and the other (Parma) from the title of Duke of Parma.

    Prince André of Bourbon-Parma married Marina Gacry on 2 May 1960. They have 3 children and 6 grandchildren:

    Hun var alle avdelinger igjennom, og sluttet som vakthavende på oversjøisk avdeling.

    Deretter begynte hun å fly som stewardesse.

    Hun og familien var blant annet stasjonert i Bankok i 1982 og 1986.

    I 1992 ble hun purser, og startet også opp med nyrekrutering av stewards og stewardesses.
    I rekruteringsgruppen satt hun fram til våren 1999.
