Onsdag 29.oktober 1873 var det Repræsentantmøde i Retslokalet i Molde. En av sakene som skulle behandles var valg av nye Ligningsmænd for 1874, da noen skulle aftræde. Rektor Alexander Brinchmann er nevnt blant de som ikke er aftrædende, og derfor fortsetter som Ligningsmand.
